The Fredericksburg Hospitality House is located near a variety of Fredericksburg attractions in the heart of Central Park - Fredericksburg, a massive shopping, dining and entertainment area just off Interstate 95. We are surrounded by well-known Civil War battlefields, and are just minutes from Historic Fredericksburg, which has 350 original 18th and 19th century buildings in a 40-block historic district with trolley tours, unique antique and specialty shops and restaurants. Take a trolley through historic Fredericksburg as part of your family vacation or visit local Civil War sites like Chancellorsville, Spotsylvania, Wilderness and Fredericksburg Battlefields, Old Salem Church, Stonewall Jackson Shrine and the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania Battlefield Memorials.

We are just 20 minutes south of Marine Corps Base Quantico, home of the Corps' Combat Development Command, the Marine Corps Officer Candidates School and the Marine Corps Research Center. The FBI Academy is also on base, as is the principal training facility for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The National Museum of the Marine Corps is located near the base, as is the new Quantico Corporate Center.

The University of Mary Washington is nearby, and Funland Amusement Center, movies and many other fun things to do in Fredericksburg  are within walking distance. King’s Dominion Amusement Park is half an hour away.

University of Mary Washington

The University of Mary Washington is a public university in Virginia that focuses on undergraduate education in the liberal arts. The core of its main campus of roughly 4,000 mostly residential students in Fredericksburg, Virginia is the College of Arts and Sciences, which offers degrees in various liberal arts disciplines. A College of Education and a College of Business offer advanced degrees. Around 450 students are enrolled in the University's graduate programs.

The Fredericksburg Hospitality House is conveniently located near the university and close to shopping and restaurants while visiting the school.
