These days, microbreweries are popping up all across the United States. Fortunately, Fredericksburg has a number of microbreweries that beer lovers are certain to enjoy. The first you should experience is Spencer Devon Brewing which is only about 10 minutes from the Fredericksburg Hospitality House. While there, be sure to try the 3-4-5 Pilsner, Sunken Road Belgian Blonde, Snowbird Wheat Wine, and Dooby IPA. You will not be disappointed. At just 15 minutes away from the hotel, Adventure Brewing, a Civil War themed brewery, should be your next stop. Some of their best beers include the Classic Lager, Stonewall Stout, Expedition IPA, and Backpack Wheat. Your last stop should be the Strangeways Brewery which is also only about 10 minutes from the hotel. Some of their best offerings include the Hop Howler IPA, Albino Monkey Belgian White Ale, Phantasmic Belgian IPA, and Woodbooger Belgian Style Wood Ale. Whether you can try all three or just one, you are sure to taste some beers which will become your new favorites.
