The Greatest Who Ever Lived

The William B. Crawley Great Lives Lecture Series celebrates the lives of some of the most creative, interesting, and inspiring people who have ever lived. The series is put on by The University of Mary Washington, and each lecture takes place at Dodd Auditorium, just 10 minutes from the Fredericksburg Hospitality House. For each celebrated person from history, an expert will give a detailed lecture on their life followed by a question and answer session with the audience. In March alone, there will be lectures regarding the lives of Female Internet Inventors (March 10), C.S. Lewis (March 12), America’s Notorious Pirates (March 19), Karl Marx (March 24), and Hedy Lamarr (March 31). Whether you are looking for an evening of discussions about a Catholic philosopher, the man who created socialism, or adventures on the high seas, The William B. Crawley Great Lives Lecture Series has something for everyone.

Notice:
Fredericksburg Hospitality House is temporarily closed. As we look forward to re-open, guest health and safety remain our top priority.
